Buckle up, ya’ll! Gemini season kicks off on Thursday, May 20th at 3:37pm. The shift from steady, grounded Taurus to quick and social Gemini marks the end of the spring season. The weather is (hopefully) getting warmer, outdoor markets are popping up, patio dining is coming back, and the hum of summer buffering can be felt. Just like the social buzz Gemini Season brings into our lives, this Season is full of events like Eclipses and Retrogrades!
On May 29th at 6:34 pm, Mercury, the planet of communication, stations retrograde. Planetary retrogrades are a time of reflection, revision, redoing, and reconsidering. Mercury will trace over it’s pre-retrograde shadow from May 14th to May 29th, so we can expect some things that occurred during that time period to come up again. Mercury retrograde gets a bad rep, but have no fear! Just like the weather, when we are prepared for rain we know to bring an umbrella; you’re prepared for the retrograde and aware that there may be some delays involved.
Adding a little bit of *spice* to this Gemini Season are the Eclipses! Eclipses are thought to be fated moments in time that put us where we need to be. I think of them like the staircases at Hogwarts in Harry Potter; the students don’t control the staircases, but the magic puts them exactly where they need to be. Eclipses work that way, too, so it’s best to just sit back, buckle up, and let the Cosmos do it’s thing! These Eclipses highlight the Gemini/Sagittarius axis-- facts vs. beliefs, details vs. the big picture. With the North Node in Gemini, we’re called to lean into facts, data, and logic, while the South Node in Sagittarius invites us to release the idea of “one truth” and too much faith.

This Gemini Season is all about communication, connection, and coexisting, my dear Aries. Gemini is a sign of adaptability and quickness, which fuels your fiery, bold nature.
